Hello. My name is Nicholas Lambert. I was born in Bremerhaven, West Germany in January of 1981 to American parents. My father was in the US Army on his second tour in Germany. I’ve lived in Germany twice, when I was born and again in the mid 1980’s on my father’s third tour there. Between the two times that I lived in Germany my family and I lived in Virginia where my father worked at the Pentagon. In 1988 my father was laid off from the Army as a disabled vet and we left Germany and settled in Massachusetts. A year later, to be closer to family, we moved to the coastal region of New Hampshire. We did alright there. We had nine in our family, my parents, four sisters, and two brothers. As life does sometimes, we were dealt a great deal of bad luck. Despite all of the help we were given, we just could not make it in New Hampshire any longer. Taking with us only what we could fit in a U-Haul trailer, we made our way west to Southern Utah to start life anew.

My parents and a few siblings still lives in Southern Utah, but I now live in Logan, Utah. I had lived in Southern Utah for nearly eight years where I graduated from Pine View High School, served a mission in Hawaii for my church, and graduated from Dixie State College with an Associate of Science. I am currently continuing my education at Utah State University here in Logan where I will complete my Bachelors in Physics.
